近日有同学问我,在阅读完型中总会碰得到as这个单词,其在不同的句型中会有不同的含义,由于不清楚as都有哪些意思,在翻译文章时经常会卡壳,导致文章理解不透彻,甚至曲解文意而选错答案,笔者认为as确实释义很多,且出现在文中的概率频繁,对我们深入理解文章至关重要，所以今天安颖老师就详细为同学们剖析一下,希望对同学们有所帮助。
(1) as引导方式状语从句时意为按照……；正如……
例：As in your country, we grow wheat in the north and rice in the south.
正如你们国家一样，我们北方种植小麦，南方种植水稻。
(2) as＋形容词／副词原级＋as ; 其否定形式为：not as/so …… as
例：He runs as fast as his sister．
他和他姐姐跑得一样快。
(3) so as to目的是,以便于 ,同in order to,而so that=in order that,也表示目的是,以便于,后面要用从句teacheray.com
例：He does sports so as to keep fit.
他做运动的目的是为了保持健康。
(4) such … as…. 象……之类的……
例：He wished to be such a man as president Mao was.
他希望成为一个像毛主席那样的人。
(5) the same as 和……一样
例：He is not the same man as he used to be
他不是从前的样子了。
(6) as 引导非限制性定语从句,可以位于句中或句首,意为正如……
例：As is known to us, knowledge is very important.
众所周知，知识是非常重要的。
(7) as引导时间状语从句,意为随着……
例：As time goes by, I like China better.
随着时间的流逝，我越来越喜欢中国。
(8) as引导原因状语从句，意为因为,由于……
例：As he didn’t know much English, he looked up the word in the dictionary .
由于他英语懂得不多，他在字典中查阅这个单词。
(9) 引导让步状语从句,意为尽管……
例：Child as he is, he is very interested in math.
尽管他是一个小孩，但他对数学很感兴趣。
(10) as soon as 一 ……就……
例: As soon as I arrive in Shanghai, I’ll call you.
我一到上海就给你打电话。
(11) as/so long as 只要
例: As long as you work hard, you will succeed.
只要努力，你就会成功
(12) as if/as though 好像
例: She looks as if she is ill.
她看上去好像生病了。
